First lets flash back to the candy store and how we all came to love Bazooka Joe. According to Bazookajoe.com, This classic bubble gum launched in 1947 but didn’t get its retro comic twist until in the mid-1950s. Created by the Topps Company, Bazooka Joe quickly took off thanks to its iconic packaging – think bright red, white and blue – and, of course, the comics inside. But who is Bazooka Joe, you ask? Well, he’s a guy with an eye patch and a pretty snazzy haircut who just can’t seem to catch a break (sorry, Joe!). Whether you were a fan of the gum or just loved the comics, Bazooka Joe and his gang of misfits will always have a special place in pop culture history.

.5 oz of Irish Creme (we chose Baileys for ours)

.5 oz of Creme de Banana

.5 oz of Blue Curacao

Shake it up and serve it in a shot glass

An alternative version for making A Bazooka Joe Shot

Theres more than one way to make a good drink, and as we said before there are a ton of variations! Try this one:

Start with a base of bubblegum-flavored vodka, then add a splash of blue raspberry liqueur and a dash of sour mix. Shake everything up with ice and strain into shot glasses. For an extra pop of flavor, rim the glasses with sugar and blue sprinkles before serving.

Did we love it?

To say we were skeptical would be an understatement. The ingredients to make this didn’t register to us as coming anywhere near what you would taste like bubblegum. But we were shocked when we tasted it and yep, it worked. Check out the video for our reactions!
