Uncorked Adventures: Discovering the Hidden Charm of ZinHouse Vineyard in Raleigh, NC

Posted by

David finds some cool destinations when he plans weekend getaways and I was THRILLED when he wanted to check out ZincHouse Vineyards in Raleigh NC!

This place is huge. Sitting on 87 Acres (much of it you don’t see) the landscape is gorgeous.

Upon pulling into the parking lot, you’ll pass the grapevines and see several buildings. 1 is in the process of being build, another can be used for several different kinds of events (think weddings). They even have YOGA classes.

As you walk toward the main building you are treated with the sounds of a fountain. To the right are cornhole boards, tables and a deck that looks over the pond (where a lot of weddings happen). In front of the pond is another building. This one is the cigar building. We were told that it opens after 4:30 and hosts live bands frequently.

The main building is the Winery/Brewery with over 14,000 feet of space! We counted 3.5 floors and 4 bars! And these aren’t little bars either! So there is lots of room to hang out inside OR outside.

Now, as for beverages, just like the building is huge, so is the beverage selection. They serve craft beers, bourbon, even non alcoholic drinks. I couldn’t count all the wines on the bottle list, but I can tell you, there is something for everyone and in every price range! (The list is published on their website)https://youtu.be/vZSrCGePEbY

Their calendar is full of events so be sure to check it out before you head out.

We are certainly looking forward to visiting again.
